| Futsal is a fun, fast-paced game, typically played indoors within the lines of a basketball court (no walls), using a smaller, low-bounce ball. Teams consist of five players (four outfield players and a goalkeeper) with unlimited substitutions and quick restarts. The game is played in many countries and is an important activity for developing footwork (technique), decision-making abilities (tactics), speed of play (fitness) and concentration (mental) aspects of play. "Practice then Play" An innovative curriculum whereby players receive professional coaching to develop individual and team skills via: (1) Individual and small-group technical skill development (2) Coached game-play to develop tactical understanding (3) Refereed "free-play" Futsal game (Note: This is not a league and does not keep any scores or standings) U07* born after 7/31/01 1:00-2:00 pm U08* born after 7/31/00 1:00-2:00 pm U10* born after 7/31/98 2:15-3:15 pm & 3:30-4:30 pm U12* born after 7/31/96 4:35-5:45 pm U14* born after 7/31/94 4:35-5:45 pm (*single age groups may be created depending upon total numbers) * Futsal does not conflict with outdoor C.C.S High School soccer regulations as it is a 5 v 5 format.
